About Mariam Maged Physiotherapist

Mariam Maged qualified as a Physiotherapist at the University of The Western Cape (UWC), in 2009.  She completed her community service in the North West Province at Mafikeng Provincial Hospital in 2010, where she treated a wide spectrum of conditions. 

She continued working in the North west for 6 years. In 2015 she moved to Pretoria to work at Steve Biko Academic hospital, where she worked in Out-patients and Orthopaedic departments and worked in Pretoria for 3 years.   She has gained experience working both in the private and public sector. 

In 2014, she completed her Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy (OMT) in Pretoria. 

 After gaining valuable physiotherapy experience, she proceeded to launch her own private practice in 2019 in her hometown, Cape Town.  In the sports environment, Mariam Maged has worked with local soccer and rugby clubs, where she has gained on and off the field sports experience. 

MMPHYSIO treats a wide range of conditions. She has a special interest in OMT, Sports and Orthopaedics.  

At MMPHYSIO we strive to provide holistic and evidence based therapy which focuses on preventing any re-occurrence of injuries.
